PORTUGAL
No other country in Europe can offer so much diversity within such short distances.
Portugal is a unique destination, the jewel in Europe’s crown. No other country in Europe can offer so much diversity within such short distances.
It is such an interesting country, with it's long history, interesting fusion of cultures, great food, excellent wines and spectacular scenery, together with its wonderful climate it really is an ideal choice as a MICE destination.
Gothic cathedrals, majestic monasteries and quaint museums are all part of the colorful cityscape, but the real delights of discovery lie in wandering the narrow lanes of Lisbon’s lovely backstreets.
The old city, dating back to Moorish roots of the 12th c. presents a maze of little streets with the white linen hanging from the balconies. Further to the West , Belém area with all its monuments dating back to time of the Discoveries.
The Nations Park built to house the Expo 98 is a further sign of this city turned to the future with the modern architecture
SINTRA
Located right in the central western Portuguese coast, just a short drive from Lisbon, Sintra, is steeped in history and offers some of the most exquisite gardens and glittering palaces sites in the country.
Sintra is like a page torn from a fairy tale. Its Unesco World Heritage–listed centre, Sintra-Vila, is dotted with pastel-hued manors folded into luxuriant hills that roll down to the blue Atlantic.
CASCAIS
Cascais has rocketed from sleepy fishing village to much-loved summertime playground of wave-frolicking. Its trio of golden bays attracts sun-worshipping holidaymakers, who come to splash in the ice-cold Atlantic. There’s plenty of post-beach life, with winding lanes leading to small museums, cool gardens, a shiny marina and a pedestrianized old town dotted with designer boutiques and alfresco fish restaurants.
After dark, lively bars fuel the party. There's also great surfing at praia do guincho, 9km northwest, and running or cycling along the shoreline path.
ESTORIL
During World War II it acquired a glamorous reputation when Portugal's neutrality and mild weather attracted the rich and the famous, German and English spies, and European royals and aristocrats.
The town maintains a certain faded grandeur and is still a fashionable cosmopolitan playground with Europe's largest casino, tennis courts, some of Europe's finest golf courses, an automobile race track that has held Formula One Grand Prix races, and an attractive sandy beach.
Porto’s UNESCO-protected riverfront district, the Ribeira, is a remarkable tangle of historic streets and alleys.
The traditional barcos rabelos (flat-bottomed boats) bob at the foot of the pretty hillside, down which medieval buildings, Rococo façades and Gothic churches cascade.
DOURO VALLEY is a place of dramatic landscapes, terraced vineyards, whitewashed estates and quintas (country homes).
The neighbouring city of Vila Nova de Gaia has more than 60 port-making ‘lodges/cellars’ on its riverbanks, many dating from the mid- 18th century.
To the East, on the island of Santa Maria, the beaches of warm white sand are inviting, and the vineyards covering the slopes like an amphitheatre resemble giant staircases.
Sao Miguel, the largest island, is seductive with its Sete Cidades and Fogo Lagoons. The power that emanates from the earth is felt in the geysers, hot thermal waters and volcanic lakes, as well as in the tasty "Cozido das Furnas" slowly cooked inside the earth.
In the Central Group, the islands of Terceira, São Jorge, Pico, Faial and Graciosa are set harmoniously in the deep blue sea, where whales and dolphins can be spotted, to the delight of visitors. On Terceira, the World Heritage town of Angra do Heroísmo, as well as its festivals, is steeped in history. Faial is the cool blue of the hydrangeas, the marina painted colourfully by yachtsmen from all over the world and the extinct Capelinhos volcano, which resembles a lunar landscape. In front is Pico, a mountain that emerges from the sea, with vineyards planted in black lava fields, a unique culture that also has World Heritage status. On São Jorge, the highlights are the Fajãs and the cheese, a unique specialty with an unmistakable flavour.
Graciosa, graceful in both name and appearance, is an island of green fields covered with vineyards that contrast with its peculiar windmills.
In the Western group, on the island of Flores, the beauty of the natural waterfalls and lakes carved out by volcanoes is dazzling. The tiny island of Corvo has a broad, beautiful crater at its centre, and attracts many species of birds coming from both Europe and America.
These are the Azores. Nine islands, nine small worlds that have as many similarities as differences. Perfect destination for the ones that are looking for something else… en par with Galapagos, Svalbard and Iceland for nature and uniqueness. Perfect incentive destination - highlights wale watching, canyoning, hiking.
MADEIRA
The Madeira islands, called the "Pearl of the Atlantic", are a lost paradise in the middle of the Atlantic ocean with spectacular scenery in the form of dramatic sea cliffs, blue waters and intriguing primordial rawness as the result of ancient volcanic activity.
Funchal is the capital city of Portugal's Madeira archipelago. It's backed by hills, and known for its harbor, gardens and Madeira wine cellars.
This magical land is a real haven for hikers and trekkers with its famous levada walks, trails that runs alongside a network of irrigation mini-canals, and its World Heritage protected status forests.
It also offers a wide range of activities, from adrenaline-fuelled jeep safari to spotting dolphins.
This archipelago is the perfect place to relax with its new boutique hotels, luxurious spas, temperate climate, a surprising nightlife, good gastronomy and its famous wine.

walled settlements. Obidos is a magic place, full of history,
culture and patrimony.
Walking the ramparts, visitors can enjoy views of

of Obidos was traditionally given as a wedding gift by the King
of Portugal to the new Queen.

the main pilgrimage centers in the world, where millions

Nazaré a picturesque seaside village and a very popular
surfing destination because of the very high breaking
waves that form due to the presence of the underwater Nazaré
Canyon.
Due to the height of the waves, numerous surfing records have
been set at Nazaré. In November 2011, surfer Garrett
McNamara, who resided in Hawaii at that time, surfed a then
record-breaking giant wave: 23.8 m (78 ft) from trough to
crest, at Praia do Norte, Nazaré. On November 8, 2017,
Brazilian surfer Rodrigo Koxa broke the previous record by
surfing a big wave of 24.4 m (80 ft); for this feat he won the
Quiksilver XXL Biggest Wave prize and entered the Guinness
